Our primary goal is to bring health, wellness, and happiness to as many people as we can. We know that online resources are often more convenient due to distance from a facility, work/life schedules, or simply comfort of being at home. Based on patient feedback and in support of our goal, we have worked diligently to create a way to share the knowledge and care of our staff with online patients. Our Guided Online Weight Loss Program has been created with you in mind.

With so much information readily available to you at any hour of the day, it makes sense to have someone in your corner who can help you not only sift through the options, but create a wellness strategy that works for YOU. Online weight loss results require work. They require commitment. But, it doesn't have to be something you do alone. We're here to help.

How it Works:

First Visit

Prior to our first online meeting, all paperwork must be completed to help our providers get the best understanding of your needs. You must also send us a recent photo of yourself (not for advertising) to help us track your progress!
Your first online meeting will be with a physician assistant trained in wellness, weight loss, and obesity medicine. We will get an understanding of your goals and what you need to accomplish them. Your second online visit will be with a registered dietitian who will develop an individualized meal plan for you. Your third online meeting will be with a licensed athletic trainer who will help you develop a workout program specific to your schedule and goals.
We recommend and encourage weekly discussions either via telephone or Skype during the first 3 months.

How it Works:

First Three Months

Once weekly the patient will e-mail three (3) items to the following e-mail address: online@inspirewpt.com. These items are as follows:
1) a photo of your scale from a weigh in,
2) a photo of your blood pressure reading and
3) a 1-day photo of your diet journal.
Every week the patient will have a scheduled telephone call with a provider at Inspire Wellness & Physical Therapy.

Progress Checkin:

At Three Months

The patient will submit an updated photo of their progress.
After the first 3 months, we still recommend weekly phone calls and meetings, but the requirement for sending the above 3 items changes to once monthly.

About the Provider

Mary Beth Corey, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Mary Beth completed her undergraduate studies at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on molecular and cellular biology from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Mary Beth earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University. Mary Beth is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Obesity Medicine Association. Mary Beth has practiced emergency medicine for 5 years, and she also has dermatology experience.
Mary Beth currently lives in Huntersville with her husband Matt and their dog, Riley. In her free time, Mary Beth enjoy reading, traveling, kayaking, visiting the beach as often as possible, and spending time with friends and family.
