Whitney graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Nutrition Sciences.  She attended University of Alabama at Birmingham for her medical degree, and is now trained as a family practice physician. She treats patients of all ages, covering a large scope of medical conditions. She is pursuing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine, to allow for a focus in alternative therapies for the treatment of chronic illness.

Whitney is also a member of the Army National Guard, serving her country through the health maintenance of our Nation’s soldiers.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Carlo Schiavoni, who works as a director for a Birmingham-based soccer club. She is a fitness enthusiast, having completed 2 Half-Ironman Triathlons and numerous half-marathons, now with a focus on High-Intensity Interval Training in addition to strength training.
